One of world’s most exclusive marathons, Thunder Dragon Marathon is an annual event highlighting different aspects of Bhutan that makes this Himalayan Jewel, so special. Running through enchanting Paro valley, the route takes in fantastic mountain scenery and encompass many iconic landmarks such as Tiger’s Nest monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang), Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) and several other religious shrines. Its truly a remarkable mountain and cultural experience.
