This beautiful traditional farmhouse, immersed in history is located in the picturesque village of Haatoe in the Haa valley at an altitude of 2,960m, western most district of Bhutan. Buried in history and untouched by time – in the villages and monasteries around this lodge, travellers can explore & experience the paramount living village culture & traditions.

The well-restored ancient house stands tall with its original character intact. There are two entrances leading into the ground floor. One side of this floor has been transformed into a snug little lounge, a perfect place to unwind in the evening. The other side of the ground floor has been converted into a reception area. A flight of wooden stairs from the reception area leads up to a landing on the first floor. There are one single and two double rooms on the first floor, each with two rows of windows looking out into the courtyard. The second floor has one triple and three double rooms with a three-tier window in each. Both floors have two common European style flush toilets each. Two common hot showers on each floor.

The cosy restaurant serves delicious Himalayan cuisine from Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet while bar is well-stocked with wine, beer and soft drinks. The guest services also include Internet, Lounge and TV room.

From Lechuna Heritage Lodge, guests can talk to the villagers, experiencing the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle. Or from the lodge, continue walk down to the beautiful river of Haa Chhu, cross the river and walk through a pristine forest to reach the Jamte Gompa, a monastery over 300 years old. From the ancient monastery guests can enjoy the best views of the southern Haa Valley. Mountain biking, village walk & trekking are the suggested activities from the lodge to explore and enjoy the beauty of exotic Haa valley.
