Royal Bhutan Flower Exhibition

Description

This flower exhibition is held every year at different locations, during spring season when variety of flowers from various region are put on display. The event was initiated by His Majesty the King of Bhutan in 2015 to celebrate the 60th birth anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo. The first few exhibitions held at the historic Ugyen Pelri Palace, Paro coinciding Paro Tshechu (festival). The fifth flower exhibition in year 2019 held at Tendrel Thang of Samdrup Jongkhar and dedicated to the 39th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the King.

Embracing the spirit of His Majesty’s profound message, the Royal Bhutan Flower Exhibition is organised as a significant event, with the objectives to foster a sense of appreciation for beautiful surroundings, and to encourage horticulture and floriculture-based economies.
