Located across Simtokha Dzong, on outskirt of Thimphu city centre, Gaa Yuel is indeed home away from home offering magnificent views all around. The establishment is situated about 20 minutes’ drive from heart of Thimphu town and this simple, yet charming place provides authentic Bhutanese hospitality in a serene & peaceful environment.

Gaa Yuel features ten guestrooms adequately furnished with en-suite bathrooms and running hot & cold water. Also, the amenities of a decent three star  hotel are also available here in a homely comfort.

The hostess is a passionate Gardener and the place is filled with indigenous plants and seasonal flowers further adding to its charm. The part of the homestay is used by family as residence and the place is also surrounded by a large orchard and organic vegetable garden.  The family also has few pet dogs but they are well behaved and quiet at night.

If interested, guests can participate in kitchen activities too and learn the preparation of few local Bhutanese dishes.
