Picturesquely located, a smart country Inn, built by converting a traditional farmhouse to cater need of discerning travellers, the lodge is situated in vicinity of  Black-necked Crane Visitor Centre (BNCVC) which is under aegis of RSPN (Royal Society for Protection of Nature). The Crane centre has a display room where interpretative panels and information on black-necked cranes, flora and fauna,community life and culture of the valley displayed.

The lodge is strategically located overlooking the picturesque Phobjikha wetland, the winter habitat of black-necked cranes. This vantage location of the lodge allows visitors to relax and spot cranes and other bird species from the comfort of the lodge.

It offers diligently planned 8 guest rooms of decent size, adequately furnished and traditional in décor’. The room amenities include: attached modern & neat bathrooms with essentials (towel, soap, shampoo & moisturiser) and with hot & cold water, heating, electric blanket, water kettle and tea / coffee sachet.

The restaurant overlooking the valley provides mesmerising view through large glass windows and serves quality Bhutanese, Indian and Chinese cuisine while attached bar offers range of local and international beverages.

Wangchuk Lodge also provides facilities of traditional hot stone bath, laundry service, Wi Fi. Though modest but its indeed a charming and enjoyable place to stay amidst nature’s bounty.
